Saturday, August 7th - St. Paul’s Car Rally and Barbecue

The first car will leave the church at 4 p.m. You may sign up as an individual or put together your own team of four. Everyone on the Rally will end up at a surprise location for a barbecue. If you don’t want to do the rally but would just enjoy having dinner with us you may come at 5:30 p.m. Contact Margaret Kelley at 442-6469 to sign up or if you would like more details.

Joint Needs Assessment Committee Report
Following the service this week there will be one more opportunity to hear a verbal report from the Joint Needs Assessment Committee. This will happen immediately following worship. This will be a repeat of the report presented on June 22nd.
Church Council will be meeting to consider the recommendations of the report in July. If you wish to pass on your thoughts about the report please contact Dave Boyd prior to July 14th. Phone 519-442-0315.
A congregational meeting will be scheduled for the fall.

Summer Flowers
If you could supply garden flowers or hanging baskets for one of the summer worship services in the auditorium please contact Verna Young at 519-442-3404.

Sunday school in the summer
Sunday School will continue each Sunday through June. In July an informal program of videos, snacks and discussion will be available for children and youth. In August there is no Sunday School. Children are welcome to join their parents or friends for the service. There will be a quiet activity table nearby for those who are restless. The new Sunday School year will begin September 12.

Our Photo Directory needs an update!

Should involve a couple hours a week for 3 or 4 months.
You will be supported by the Stewardship and Communications Committee.

Opportunity is knocking!
Volunteer opportunity that is! Learn a new skill! Help your church family!
- Sound system operators – we need three or four more!
For our church to survive and thrive we need everyone to pitch in. Talk to Stuart Budd or one of our clergy members if you can help or if you would like more details about any of these opportunities!

Canning? Preserving? Jamming?

Why not set an extra jar or two aside for the UCW Candy Cane Bazaar? Home cooking and baking always sell fast!

New Office hours
The office at St. Paul's is open Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 9:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Closed Mondays.

Got Milk? St. Paul's is collecting the outer bag from 3 quart bags of milk again. Look for the container above the coat rack in the auditorium.

HOW MANY DREAMS CAN YOU HAVE COME TRUE IN ONE TRIP? Rev. Hilary and Rev. Robert Merritt will be hosting a trip to see the Oberammergau Passion Play plus many other European treasures from July 21 to August 5, 2010. A brochure with more information on the trip is posted on the bulletin board.
