Groups
U.C.W.
United Church Women (UCW) meet monthly to participate
in worship, programs and action. They visit the seniors and shut-ins
and organize fundraisers such as the Candy Cane Bazaar, the Shamrock
Luncheon and Card Party. We
collect used stamps, pop can tabs and Campbell soup labels. A
group of our ladies gather each month to make greeting cards which
are delivered to our shut-ins. We cater a Youth Appreciation Dinner for the
Optimist Club and a Community
Dinner at the Presbyterian Church. And also have lots of fun!
All
women are welcome!

Friendship
Club
The
Friendship Club meets 4 times during the year. They enjoy fellowship,
food and interesting programs. All adults are welcome.

Friends
of the Enviroment
Friends
of the Enviroment meets monthly to learn about current enviromental
issues. We encourage action to be taken to reuse, reduce, and recycle
whenever possible.

Craft
Class
The
Craft Class meets on the last Friday of the month at 7:00 p.m. to
make crafts for the annual bazaar.
Activity
Group
The
Activity Group meets on the second Tuesday of each month from 1:30
p.m. to 4:00 p.m. They enjoy card games, friendship, fun and food.
This group is sponsored by the Friendship Club, but
is for all adults in the community.
Garden
Club
The
Garden Club plans, plants, weeds, and waters the church flower beds.
All volunteers are welcome.

Social
Committee
The
Social Committee plans interesting events throughout the year. Some
events are for the entire family and some are just for adults. To

Community Groups which meet in the facility include:
SPARKS
SPARKS is a group of young girls age 5-6 that meets every Wednesday
6:30-7:30 p.m. This group is a part of the Girl Guide family. For

AA
Group
The
Paris group of AA meets every Thursday at 8:00 p.m. This is a support
group for Alcoholics Anonymous. For more information go to www.branterieaa.org
Eleanor's
Girls
The
Eleanor's Girls group meets every Tuesday at 6:00 p.m. in the Margaret
Broomfield room. The main purpose of this group is to monitor weight,
provide support and enjoy fellowship. For more information, call
